This alternative school combines traditional studies with work experience. In order to accommodate Alpha's unique programs the school exemplifies “adjustability." Classrooms readily transform size and configuration. Mobile cabinets, desks, and student project lockers reinforce the school’s flexibility. Data, lighting, and mechanical systems are all specially designed to support the adjustable spaces. On the exterior, massing and materials distinguish between interior functions. Ultimately it is a building that reflects the unique academic program within.
